Kindergarten

1 service hour per year, 30 minutes by December and the remaining 30 minutes are to be completed by May.

1st – 2nd Grade

2 service hours per year, 1 hour by December and the remaining 1 hour is to be completed by May.

3rd – 5th Grade

4 service hours per year, 2 hours by December and the remaining 2 hours are to be completed by May.

6th – 7th Grade

10 service hours per year, 5 hours by December and the remaining 5 hours are to be completed by May.

8th Grade

20 service hours per year. All graduating eighth grade students are required to complete 20 hours of service a year. The initial 10 service hours must be completed by December and the remaining 10 are to be completed by May. The eighth grade students will be provided with a service hour form to track the hours they have completed. The forms must be turned in to the 8th grade teacher by the assigned due date. Service hours will not be awarded for lost forms.

Student service hours can be completed in a variety of ways, such as:

• After School Tutoring during our After School Program
• Participating in Confession outside of School Hours
• Yard Clean Up
• Mass Attendance (Family Mass NOT Included)

Please Note: No 8th grade student will be allowed to participate in any 8th grade activities, including graduation, if their service hours are not completed by May 31st.
