Student Service Hours
All students are required to complete service hours in an effort to teach them the importance of providing service to others. By participating in the service hour program, students are able to interact with the faculty, their peers and community on a new level.
At the beginning of the school year each student will be provided with a service hour form that is to be used to keep track of the hours they have completed. The student/parent is responsible for maintaining the service hour form and turning it in to their teacher by the assigned due date. Service hours will count for 10% of the student’s final Religion grade. All completed service hour forms must be submitted to the child’s teacher; the office WILL NOT keep track of service hours. Service hours will not be awarded for lost forms.
The amount of hours required varies depending on the child’s grade level; the number of service hours required annually can be found on the Student Service Hours page.
